Effects of Using Corpus-Based Instructional Mediation on EFL Students’ Academic Writing Skills Improvement

This study aimed at examining the effects of corpus-based instructional mediation on EFL learners’ academic writing skills improvement. To conduct research, a quasi-experimental research design was employed. A total 72 mechanical engineering students participated in study, and they were selected through simple random sampling technique. Among them, 25 assigned to experimental group 47 control group. The data gathered by means pre- post-tests. Multivariate Analysis Variance (MANOVA) used observe statistical differences between groups their skills. results showed that who instructed outperformed than conventional approach. Particularly, improved content, communicative achievement, organization, grammar, vocabulary usage Therefore, this calls for inclusion authentic linguistic elements teaching material when courses context.
